Carpet Bowls Club Looking for New Members

For over 2 years the Inch Carpets Bowls Club has been unable to hold any sessions, because of Inch House being closed due to the Covid Pandemic. Now at last the sessions are resuming.

Winnie Black, one of the Club’s longest-serving members, is delighted: “I’ve been going to Carpet Bowls for over 30 years and I can’t wait for it to start again. I enjoy the bowling, but it’s the people you meet there who make it special.”

Another enthusiast, Janet Currie, started attend-ing Carpet Bowls 8 years ago after a friend recom-mended it to her. Likewise for her it is the social side which she enjoys the most. New members are very welcome: “We’re always delighted to see new faces. So why not come and join us and have a laugh together?”, said Janet. “You can leave the boredom at home for a while”.
