Cameron Toll Planning Consultation
In February, as part of the pre-planning process, Cameron Toll invited the Association to provide early comment on its draft Master Plan, currently under preparation for redevelopment of the retail facility site. Proposed new developments at the existing Cameron Toll retail park include a cinema, hotel, multi-storey residential apartment block and new pedestrian and cycle ways. The Association noted its concerns over the impact of the height and mass of the new residential block on the existing visual amenity of Inch Park and House. However details for inclusion in the formal Cameron Toll planning application to Edinburgh Council, are still being developed. These will be subject to formal consultation and comment as part of the formal planning application process. We will provide an update in our next Newsletter.
